Marlene ThomasIN LOVING MEMORY
Marlene Thomas
Shoshone-Paiute Tribes • Duck Valley Indian Reservation (Owyhee, NV)
Marlene Thomas was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and a respected member of her community. She was known for opening her home to others and helping whenever she could.
In March 2021, Marlene was taken from her family in a tragic act of violence. Her case remains unresolved. We honor Marlene by speaking her name, standing beside her loved ones, and continuing the work to bring awareness, accountability, and protection to Indigenous families.
Her family continues to seek answers and encourages anyone with information to come forward. Information can be shared confidentially through the appropriate authorities, and you may remain anonymous.
We remember Marlene — and we will not stop.
